FAQ's

Who will help us during our fundraiser?

Me. A real person, coach and mom of three athletes. 😊

Seriously. When you sign up with Look Who Has My Back, you get me, Mary G. There isn’t a customer service department, a ticketing system, or someone reading from a script asking if you’ve tried turning it off and back on.

I personally set up your fundraiser, create your graphics, answer your calls and texts (yes, sometimes while coaching), help troubleshoot, and cheer your team on along the way. If you have a question, you’re talking to the person who built the fundraiser, not someone who has to put you on hold to ask someone else.

My goal is simple: make your fundraiser ridiculously easy so you can spend your time coaching (or cheering), not figuring out fundraising.

What are the donation levels?

• $25 – Small name on the back
• $50 – Large name on the back
• $75 – Business Logo on the back

• $250 – Team Sponsor (name on all jerseys)

• $500 – Team Sponsor (logo on all jerseys)

Supporters can also give an additional donation on top of any level.

Are there any upfront costs?

There is a small startup deposit ($25 for 1-12 players, then increments of $25 for more than 12 players) to launch a fundraiser. That deposit is credited back to your team in the final payout. This helps cover setup time and ensures teams are ready to actively run their fundraiser.

What kind of t-shirts?

We print all of our t-shirts on dry-fit garments. 100% polyester.

What if a player only has a couple donors?

No problem at all. We offer the option to put the names of all the players and coaches on the back of their shirt to help fill extra space and still make the shirt look full, balanced, and professional. Every player ends up with a shirt they’re proud to wear — whether they have two supporters or twenty.

Why can't I start a fundraiser immediately?

Each Look Who Has My Back fundraiser is custom built, not auto-generated. This process generally takes 1-4 days, depending on the number of current active fundraisers.

Before a fundraiser goes live, we personally set up your team’s donation platform, create your custom shareable graphics and links, organize your tracking system, and customize your copy and paste messages that help promote your fundraiser. This ensures your fundraiser runs smoothly, looks professional, and that every donor and player is tracked correctly. Once setup is complete, your fundraiser launches ready to succeed.

What is the maximum number of names that fit on a shirt?

We have yet to run into this problem. This shirt alone raised $2500, with 32 donors and 6 business logos. If we happen to ever have too many donors to look professional on a shirt, we will create 2 shirts for that player (for no extra charge).

Who can participate?

Almost any organized team or group can run a Look Who Has My Back fundraiser, including youth sports, school teams, cheer, dance, band, theater, clubs, and other nonprofit organizations.

To participate, your organization must have:
  • A coach, team parent, booster club representative, or organization leader to coordinate the fundraiser.
  • A completed W-9 form from the organization receiving the funds.
  • A bank account for the organization, since fundraiser proceeds are paid directly to the organization (not to individuals).

Can our team add participants during the fundraiser?

Roster not finalized yet, no worries! You can add players/participants at anytime during your fundraiser.

When do we receive our shirts?

Once your fundraiser ends you will receive proofs for review. After approval, production typically takes 2-3 weeks, and then your shirts are shipped directly to your team organizer.

We know everyone is excited to see the names/logos on the back, so we work hard to get them out as quickly as possible while making sure everything is correct.

If you have a deadline, please contact us to make sure that we can accommodate your team.
