1. Purpose of the Fundraiser
The Look Who Has My Back Fundraiser is designed to help teams, athletes, and organizations raise funds by collecting donations in exchange for having donor names printed on a team T-shirt or similar promotional item. Funds raised are intended for the stated team or organization and may be used for, but are not limited to, team dues, uniforms, travel expenses, and equipment.
2. Participation Requirements
- Teams/Organizations must register using our official form and agree to these Terms before fundraising begins.
- Coaches/Team Coordinators are responsible for sharing fundraiser materials and ensuring all participants adhere to these Terms.
- Donors must provide accurate information for name printing and shipping (if applicable).
3. Fundraiser Timeline
- The Fundraiser will run for the agreed-upon period specified in your team registration confirmation.
- Late donations may not be accepted or may be processed without the donor’s name appearing on any merchandise.
- T-shirts and other items will typically ship within 2–3 weeks after the fundraiser’s completion, but shipping times may vary due to supplier delays, availability, or unforeseen circumstances.
4. Donation Process
- Donations are collected exclusively through the official Look Who Has My Back online platform.
- We accept various payment methods; all transactions are processed securely through third-party payment processors.
- All donations are final and non-refundable unless otherwise required by law.
- The Organizer will deduct an agreed-upon percentage (10%) from the total donations collected as a service and processing fee, plus the cost of the printed T-shirt (ranging from $25–$50) if not purchased in advance, before transferring the remaining funds to the participating team/organization.
- Every donation is also subject to standard credit card processing fees, not to exceed 4%, which are applied at the time of the transaction.
5. Name Printing & Content Restrictions
- Donor names will be printed exactly as submitted through our online form; please verify spelling before submission.
-By uploading a logo or image, you confirm that you own the rights to use and reproduce it, or have obtained proper authorization to do so.
- The Organizer reserves the right to reject any name that contains profanity, hate speech, offensive language, discriminatory terms, or any content deemed inappropriate.
- If a name is rejected, the donor may provide an alternative name within 48 hours of notice.
6. Responsibilities & Disclaimers
- The Organizer is not responsible for tracking individual team members’ outreach efforts, collecting in-person donations, or ensuring each athlete meets personal fundraising goals.
- Teams and athletes are solely responsible for promoting the fundraiser using the provided materials and within the agreed rules.
- The Organizer will not be liable for:
• Delays caused by suppliers, shipping carriers, or force majeure events.
• Errors in donor-submitted information.
• Misuse of funds by the participating team or organization once transferred.
7. Intellectual Property
All logos, templates, flyers, and promotional materials provided by the Organizer remain the property of Look Who Has My Back. Teams may not alter, resell, or distribute these materials outside the scope of the fundraiser without prior written consent.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Organizer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from or related to participation in the Fundraiser.
9. Privacy & Data Use
- Donor names and contact information are collected solely for the purpose of printing merchandise, processing donations, and communicating updates related to the Fundraiser.
- We do not sell or share personal information with unrelated third parties.
10. Modification & Termination
-The Organizer reserves the right to modify these Terms or terminate the Fundraiser at any time for any reason, including but not limited to violations of these Terms or unforeseen operational issues.
-Any participant who chooses to end their fundraiser prior to the agreed upon end date may be subject to a early termination fee, not to exceed $100.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Duval County, Florida.
